Southwestern Ontario Through Annual ‘Month of Giving’ Campaign

Kitchener, ON, April 3, 2024 – In celebration of the annual March ‘Month of Giving’ campaign, two Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurants in Canada, in Kitchener and London, partnered with Make-A-Wish Canada, Southwestern Ontario to support the local charity.

Together, the stores raised over $12,000 throughout the month of March, where customers were invited to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate $1, $3 or $5 when placing their order. The campaign laddered up to the company’s Day of Giving, on March 27th, when local Jersey Mike’s restaurants gave 100 percent of the day’s sales- not just profit- to Make-A-Wish-Canada, Southwestern Ontario.

This campaign is such a worthy program and true testament to what Jersey Mike’s is all about… making a difference in the lives of others. We are so appreciative of the donation and thank all of those that played a part!” says Erin Bhatia, Chapter Director for Ontario, Make-A-Wish Canada.

The Month of Giving Campaign, now in its 14th year, was celebrated at Jersey Mike’s locations across North America. Collectively, Jersey Mike’s Subs and customers across North America rallied to raise over $25 million to help more than 200 local charities throughout March. More than 2,700 restaurants participated, raising funds for local charities including hospitals, youth organizations, food banks and more. (View/download b-roll)

Thank you to our customers, franchise owners, team members and charity partners for making a difference!”

This fundraising total exceeds the $21 million raised during last year’s campaign. With this year’s donation, Jersey Mike’s has surpassed the $100 million mark, raising $113 million for local charities since Month of Giving began in 2011.

“Giving…making a difference in someone’s life” has been the mission of Jersey Mike’s from the beginning.
